A Brief History of the Inno-verse
The Inno Series A-Z: Beams, Scans, Spots and Zooms!
The name – Inno – comes from the word innovative. Since we launched our Inno Series with the Inno Scan LED and Inno Roll LED back in 2012, we’ve been going from strength to strength to provide you with forward-thinking, versatile and affordable LED lighting solutions, making the world a brighter and more colorful place in the process!
Many years ago, discharge lighting solutions (using gas-discharge lamps) were the most effective form of lighting. But they were complicated to manufacture and required ballasts to control current flow, and, as a result, were expensive for us to make and for you to buy. The lamps were also fragile and expensive to replace when they blew. Despite this, our Accu range of discharge lighting sold well – but at ADJ we’re always looking to the future. With the Inno Series we’ve managed to push the boundaries of LED, giving the industry an effective form of lighting but making it more affordable for you.
There are now twelve professional lighting fixtures in our Inno Series range, all of which are both intelligent and powerful – the brain and the brawn – as well as highly professional. All of these aforementioned qualities are what ties together every fixture in the Inno range and we believe that these are the reasons you keep coming back to ADJ for unbeatable lighting products.
We think it’s fair to say that with the Inno Series there are lighting solutions for every occasion; different fixtures for different functions, but all at price which offers more bang for your buck. Our rollers, scanners, spots and beams all provide you - and other industry professionals - with reliable and innovative fixtures which ensure that audiences go home having experienced something special in the form of a mesmerizing lightshow or an atmospherically-lit venue.
Inno Spots
One of the most successful areas of the Inno Series is our Inno Spot range, which includes the compact Inno Pocket Spot, as well as the Inno Spot LED, Inno Spot Pro and top-of-the-range Inno Spot Elite. This series of fixtures offers brightness ranging from 12W to 180W, and the units are designed for anyone to use; from those just getting into moving heads to the seasoned pros looking to upgrade from discharge lighting to a more eco-friendly LED solution. The entry-level Inno Pocket Spot is incredibly portable and therefore perfect for mobile DJs and entertainers looking for an impressive effect that is easy to transport and easy to use. At the other end of the range, the Inno Spot Elite offers incredible brightness and a comprehensive feature set including replaceable rotating gobos, motorized focus and iris, as well as a 6-facet rotating prism. The whole range features advanced LED technology, which provides powerful light and allows for greater savings due to its near maintenance-free operation and energy-saving power consumption.
Inno Beams with Zoom
Our Inno Color Beam range is another successful aspect of the Inno Series, offering you the dual-functionality of a wide-reaching wash effect and a tight powerful beam – both in the compact form of an adaptable moving head fixture. We achieved this winning combination in our Z7 and Z19 models by uniting quad-color Osram Ostar LEDs with motorized zoom giving a 10-60 degree beam angle. This motorized zoom enables varying beam angles, changed remotely via DMX, meaning the moving heads can create both intense beams of light for impressive mid-air effects and a far-reaching wash effect, offering an adaptable lighting solution no matter what the venue.
This versatility runs through all of the Inno Color Beam range, making the fixtures ideal for everyone, whether you’re a DJ, club owner, touring act, mobile entertainer or even if you’re looking to outfit a church’s stage or sanctuary. The range provides the ideal solution in situations where a multi-functional fixture is needed to provide an active lightshow but also to allow a static wash effect to cast a wide-reaching glow across the stage or dance-floor.
The journey so far has taken us from the roll and scan of our first Inno LED fixtures, through the eco-friendly super-brightness of our Inno Spots, to the intense beams and far-reaching wash effects of our Inno Color Beams.
