ADJ Finds Its Rhythm at Mobile Beat Las Vegas Demonstrating a series of brand new lighting effects, controllers and atmospherics, as well as offering exclusive learning opportunities, ADJ continues an already successful 2016 with an exceptional outing at Mobile Beat Las Vegas. Drawing in hundreds of mobile DJs from across the globe, the 20th ever Mobile Beat event ran March 14-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and gave visitors a chance to learn, network and check out a whole range of DJ-relevant products! Of course, at the heart of the action was the ADJ booth, which provided a series of spectacular lightshows alongside an interactive ADJ-hosted workshop. Building on their success at last year’s show, ADJ used Mobile Beat 2016 to showcase an array of new effects, as DJs from across the US and beyond dropped by the booth to view awesome programed lightshows that proved to be some of the most memorable moments of the four-day event! Bringing energy, excitement, movement and color to the ADJ stand, visitors were blown away by the range of new lighting effects on display. Packing a powerful punch, the Stinger II brought incredible triple-impact effects to the forefront, utilizing its upgraded UV LED strobe feature, potent 30mW red/green laser beams, and hex-color moonflower effects to provide a spectacular visual experience for the mobile DJs crowded around the booth. Completing the selection of new lighting effects was the Crazy Pocket 8, a pocket-sized version of the original Crazy 8 that lets users create energized displays of quick-sweeping beams thanks to a high-power quad-color LED source and dual-tilting bars. Bringing mesmeric multi-beam displays to the ADJ booth, visitors seemed impressed by its dynamic movement and stunning 8-zone LED chases, both of which give mobile DJs the ability to take their lightshows to the next level in terms of creativity, movement and scope. But it wasn’t just an awesome selection of affordable ADJ lighting effects that left visitors to Mobile Beat wanting to know more! Other products that wowed the crowds include the brand new ADJ Bubbletron Go and American Audio’s much-anticipated VMS5 MIDI controller. Being displayed for the very first time, the Bubbletron Go brought its fun, artistic bubble effects to the ADJ stand, showing DJs how its high-velocity fan, rechargeable battery and high-capacity 1-liter fluid tank can add energy and individuality to their setup without a big cost. Ideal for bringing unique effects to stages, dance-floors and outdoor events like summer weddings, the machine boasts a 50-minute supply (full-on) and a high-velocity fan, ensuring fast-rising bubbles effects that fill the air, creating extra excitement when used with moving heads – as the lucky crowds at Mobile Beat saw for themselves! Also causing excitement on the ADJ stand was the new VMS5 MIDI controller from American Audio, building on the attributes of the original VMS4 with a series of new features that take seamless audio control to the next level. Throughout the show, crowds got to check out the controller’s range of new features, which includes larger platters, full MIDI mapping and a new browser function. But it was the inclusion of the popular Virtual DJ LE software that ensured visitors to the ADJ stand left suitably impressed with this portable, affordable but highly versatile MIDI controller… Aside from having an impressive collection of new products on display, ADJ also used this year’s Mobile Beat event to provide mobile DJs with an exclusive interactive workshop on the Tuesday morning. Hosted by successful DJ Arnoldo Offermann, the session – entitled ‘You’re A Mobile DJ, Now What?!’ – offered takes-homes and advice for DJs looking to branch out into effective full-service production. Safe to say, visitors left the ADJ-hosted workshop equipped with new industry knowledge and plenty of ideas for taking their business to the next level! So, it was another successful year for ADJ at the ever-improving Mobile Beat show in Vegas. DJs went home having experienced a raft of game-changing new ADJ products, including lighting effects, MIDI controllers and atmospherics, while visitors also had access to business-expanding content during a well-received workshop session. As the event continues to flourish, ADJ’s outing at Mobile Beat was another success during already groundbreaking 2016.
