They say two heads are better than one, but sometimes that’s just not true – which is why we’re giving you four. Following on from the success of the original Event Bar DMX and the recent Event Bar Q4, our latest X-Y pinspot bar system, the Event Bar Pro, uses four high-output moving head spots, powered by 10-watt bright white LEDs, to give you an incredibly versatile and powerful white lighting solution.

Where the Q4 used quad-color LEDs to achieve a range of colors, we’ve focussed the Event Bar Pro back on delivering super-bright white beams of light, which can be used for pin-spotting as well as for providing an active lightshow for mid-air movement above the dance-floor – offering you a multipurpose fixture capable of mesmerizing effects.

The original Event Bar DMX used 3-watt white LEDs, but this fixture moves to a new level of brightness utilising hugely powerful 10-watt white LEDs. When combined with a 3-degree beam angle, this makes for intense razor-sharp beams of pure lighting excitement. Each individual pinspot head can pan and tilt independently, controlled by DMX, giving you a fully-controllable moving lightshow from a single fixture.

With its capability for independent movement, as well as for tight, bright beams of white light, the Event Bar Pro operates as a double-purpose fixture. While in a static position its four pinspots can work independently to spotlight tables, centrepieces or décor. But when the party gets going and the dancing begins, it can jump into action; scanning sharp beams around the room to add energy to the dance-floor. If you’re a mobile DJ, this makes the Event Bar Pro particularly suited to your needs, especially if you work weddings and other functions where the ability to create both a subtle atmosphere – using static lighting – and a lively party feel – using the moving heads – is needed. Once the lightshow is underway, the Event Bar Pro will be sure to mesmerize your audiences, letting you choose from eight pre-programmed shows. Alternatively, the unit is fully controllable via DMX, allowing its integration into a larger synchronized lighting display. With control over dimming and strobing on each individual head, you really can be selective in how you use each separate aspect of the system.

Another big advantage for mobile DJs as well as event production companies is that the Event Bar Pro is extremely lightweight considering it packs in four moving head fixtures; weighing in at just 29 pounds (11 kg.), you can easily move and transport the fixture, making for hassle free setup, teardown, and storage. Another plus side if you’re a mobile entertainer is that the built-in mount allows you to attach the Event Bar Pro directly to the top of a tripod stand – also aiding a speedy setup and tear down. Furthering the flexibility of the product, an omega bracket also allows you to hang the system from a goalpost or truss rig.

Various operational modes, including Show, Sound Active, and DMX-controlled, give you easy control over the fixture, and increased simple control can be gained using the ADJ UC3 handheld remote (sold separately), which lets you select mode, alter show speed and activate various strobe effects. A useful four-button DMX LCD display makes mode selection easy, as well as DMX addressing and selection between the five different DMX channel modes: 2, 17, 20, 22 or 25. The power supply for up to five Event Bar Pros (at 120V) or eight (at 230V) can also be daisy-chained together to minimize the need for messy cables and to reduce your setup and teardown times.
