When ADJ first kicked off its Inno Pocket range with the release of the Inno Pocket Spot, the small but powerful fixture went down extremely well with lighting enthusiasts across the globe, building its reputation as a highly flexible and totally affordable spot solution. Recently, ADJ grew the range even further, adding a flat-mirrored scanner – the Inno Pocket Scan – and a barrel-mirrored scanner – the Inno Pocket Roll.

Much like the original units in the Inno Pocket Series, the Inno Pocket Scan and Roll offer compact power, both packing an impressively bright 12-watt LED source (the same found in the Inno Pocket Spot) into 11.5-inch and 13-inch tall fixtures, respectively. Thanks to their narrow 14-degree beam angle and single GOBO/color wheel, which combines 8 unique GOBO patterns (plus open) with 8 striking colors (plus white), both fixtures are capable of generating vibrant, bold patterns in bright, translucent colors. This makes them ideal for projecting onto dance-floors, stages and venue walls, as well as for providing mid-air effects in smoke or haze filled environments.

Not only will the vast array of colors allow you to create pure lighting excitement for your audiences, but in terms of movement, the stepper motors with micro stepping allow both the Inno Pocket Scan and Roll to move with speed and accuracy – much faster than most moving heads. This flexible and quick movement will let you fill the dance-floor or venue with frantic, shimmering color beam effects, while the Inno Pocket Scan also utilizes X-Y mirror movement for enhanced scope.

Whether you’re a mobile DJ, a venue looking to invest in some atmosphere-boosting effects, or even part of a touring band or small stage act, the unique, far reaching effects and compact size of the Inno Pocket Scan and Roll make them perfectly suited to your needs. The Inno Pocket Roll and Inno Pocket Scan offer a choice of three operational modes: DMX-Controlled, Sound Active and Internal Show. For a simple but effective lightshow, Sound Active mode utilizes the units’ fast mirror movement, allowing them to send out multi-beams of light in time to high-tempo music. Internal Show mode offers the convenience of 12 pre-programmed lightshows. Meanwhile, DMX-Controlled mode gives more in-depth, flexible control over the units; letting you incorporate them into a larger lighting system and enabling an even more magnificent vision of pure lighting excitement to come to life.

Any combination of Inno Pocket Rolls and Scans can be easily linked in a Master/Slave configuration, along with your Inno Pocket Spots, to create a synchronized lightshow using any one of the twelve in-built programs available in Internal Show mode. In addition, the Display Inversion mode allows you to invert selected fixtures for an even more effective and professional-looking synchronized lightshow. For further control options, the ADJ IR Remote is available as an optional extra, granting you control over Full On, Stand By, Strobe, Color Change, 0-100% Dimming and Sound Active On/Off, wirelessly, from a distance of 15-feet. This is ideal if you need to operate your Inno Pocket Scans and Rolls either while controlling stage or venue lighting, or performing on stage yourself.

In terms of practicality, with a hanging yoke and safety hook included, you can mount both the Inno Pocket Scan and Roll fixtures from ceilings or trusses at any angle. This makes them perfect for use in bars and lounges or even for bowling alleys and roller rinks where units need to be mounted above lanes or in the center of a rink. For added convenience, the IEC ins/outs are fitted on the back of the units, rather than the sides, making for neater wiring and a more professional overall look when hanging them from truss.
