Providing you with the same eye-candy LED pattern effects but with the bonus of IR-compatibility for game-changing wireless control, the new Revo 4 IR is a moonflower effect like no other.

Utilizing a wide 35-degree beam angle and 256 LEDs arranged in a matrix grid, the Revo 4 IR lets you create 256 razor-sharp beams in red, green, blue and white, filling the room with color and projecting patterns onto the wall, ceiling or dance-floor. Because these LEDs are arranged into a pixel-mappable matrix grid, the Revo 4 IR lets you create unique moving patterns and chase effects that fill large areas of space and can be easily customized using myDMX 2.0 software or the unit’s DMX-Controlled mode, or created automatically using built-in programs.

These patterns are generated by the unit turning individual sets of LEDs on and off, resulting in a range of chase effects that bring any space to life with color and movement! Using pixel-mapping, the sky really is the limit; you can create unique patterns, shapes, chase effects and even letters and words, as different-colored pixels combine to project exciting moving effects and scrolling messages onto the various surfaces and spaces. What’s more, these effects are so vividly eye-catching that they work brilliantly with or without fog and haze. So, if your setup doesn’t feature atmospherics, or you’re working inside a venue that doesn’t allow them, you can still create pure lighting excitement for your guests.

While these stunning pixel-mapping capabilities will leave audiences astounded, for that extra energy burst during your parties and events ADJ has also equipped the Revo 4 IR with a strobe function, so you can generate an intense club-style atmosphere for younger audiences and late-night events at clubs, bars and private events.

When it comes to controlling the Revo 4 IR and its distinctive LED pattern effects, you have access to an array of options. For a simple but effective option, you can trigger Sound Active Mode or Show Mode and sit back as the unit runs through a series of built-in programs, setting up multiple Revo 4 IRs in master/slave mode for greater coverage and added energy. Alternatively, you can select from two DMX-Controlled settings – 4-channel or 256-channel. The first of these lets you trigger Sound Active mode, select chases and patterns, black out the unit, select color combinations, adjust the chase speed, and trigger and adjust strobe effects. Meanwhile, the latter lets you control the levels for each of the RGBW LEDs, allowing you to create your own unique patterns and visual effects through in-depth pixel-mapping, whether using a DMX controller or ADJ’s popular myDMX 2.0 software.

The final option for control is to use infrared signals to wirelessly activate built-in programs and trigger these distinct, customizable effects. With IR technology built in and a UC IR remote included in the package, you’ll find that controlling your Revo 4 IR from a convenient position of your choosing is no problem, selecting built-in shows and changing settings with the easy-to-use remote. The Revo 4 IR can also be controlled using ADJ’s incredible new AirStream IR App, which is free to download and gives you the freedom to control key features from the convenience of your handheld iOS device. The features that can be controlled and adjusted using the UC IR remote and AirStream IR App include strobing, color selection, built-in program selection and Sound Active mode – so you’ll never be stuck for choice!

Also included with the Revo 4 IR is a hanging bracket, allowing you to mount the unit on truss to project eye-catching LED patterns down onto the dance-floor, creating a fun party atmosphere for your guests. Furthermore, once your Revo 4 IR is mounted, you don’t have to touch it again for duty cycles, so you can leave the effect running all night, using the UC IR remote or AirStream IR App to blackout the unit during periods where you don’t need it.

If you want to incorporate multiple Revo 4 IR effects into your lightshow, you can daisy-chain up to 12 units at 120V (or 21 units at 230V), for a more expansive display that brings pure lighting excitement to every corner of the venue, filling every surface with animated pixel patterns. Taking numerous units on the road is also a breeze thanks to the Revo 4 IR’s low weight (11 lbs./4.9 kg.) and compact dimensions (12.25 x 12 x 13.25in/312x306x334mm), which make it not only portable and easy to carry in and out of venues, but also compact enough to store at home or in the truck in between gigs.
